Sophrosyne's Saturday Salon today... transcript, pics.

Here's the transcript of our interview and discussion at [info]sophrosyne_sl's Saturday Salon today in Extropia.

You may see some names in the transcript as _____ -- I asked if it's OK to include people's names in the transcript. If they said no or didn't respond, they got anonymized. :)

See photos and slides at flickr. The slides also a quick history of our experience in SL, so I get all nostalgic!

Here's the transcript on my Web site since it's too long to post here... it was two hours after all. @_@

I did want to go to that, but, alas, I had a prior (RL) commitment.

I'll have a look at the transcript . . . not quite the same, but, hey.

Huge thanks to you and Seven for a fantastic time!

I'd love to sit our team down with you two sometime and brainstorm for fun things we can do in Extropia - I'm totally impressed by your ideas!

I just read the transcript . . . fascinating discussion! I would have loved to have been there, but I was quite a ways afk, as I said.

I'm especially interested in your and your brother's previous lives in text-based multi-user environments. I never participated in those, myself (unless you count serial storytelling on old-school 300-baud BBSs) but I would have probably asked quite a few questions about the similarities and differences between the those and SL. But I'll just settle for the questions other people asked about it. ;)

CyFishy, it's a topic near and dear to my heart. :D I'd be happy to chat with you ad nauseum about it anytime, just drop me an IM!

And yeah, storyboards count. :D

Those count! Jen and I used to participate in those all the time back in the early 90s. Before she went to college and we discovered the Internet storyboards on WWIV BBSes and such were our earliest forms of collaborative roleplaying.
